今天早上想吃清粥小菜,昨晚還有剩一些玉米蛋糕瑪芬,就一起丟下去煮了,反正就算奇怪,是玉米也不會難吃到哪裡去,結果這粥還很清香,不過建議要吃這個粥,不要配太復雜的小菜,不然會把粥的味道搶走,開罐醬瓜或是一塊豆腐乳就真的夠了。

 

 

份量: 4 人份

材料

 

白米                      2

                         3

玉米蛋糕瑪芬      3

 

作法

 

  1. 拿一湯鍋加白米洗淨,加入3杯的水用中火煮滾,每隔幾分鐘要稍微攪拌一下,不然會黏底。
  2. 將玉米蛋糕瑪芬底紙撕掉,整個放入鍋中與稀飯一起煮一下,之後用叉子將玉米蛋糕瑪芬弄碎,與稀飯混合,煮到白米熟為止,要是稀飯感覺太濃稠可以加點水大約12-15 分鐘。

 

 

 

Corn Cake Porridge

 

I am always one to create new dishes, especially dishes out of leftovers.  After the big barbecue meal last night, I feel like something light and healthy.  This is light and healthy creative dish.  Pair it with some pickles or pork or fish sung.  

 

Ingredients

 

White rice                2 cups

Water                       3 cups

Corn cake muffin     3 pieces

 

Directions:

 

  1. Wash the white rice in a medium soup pan, add the 3 cups of water and bring to a boil.
  2. Tear the muffin liners and add the corn cake muffins into the porridge, cook 5 minutes, using a fork, scramble the now soft corn cake.  Mix well with porridge.  Continue cooking for another 10 minutes, add more water if needed.  

 

Servings: 4
